Class Dojo
At our school, we use ClassDojo as a positive way to recognise and reward children for their efforts, behaviour, and achievements.
Children collect Dojo points throughout the term, working towards special rewards. As shown in our ClassDojo rewards poster:
-
50 Dojos – Small Class Reward
Examples include extra playtime, a short class game, drawing or craft time, choosing a class story, or sitting next to a friend for a lesson. -
100 Dojos – Treat with a Friend
A special reward to enjoy with a friend, such as hot chocolate or juice together, lunch at the “VIP table”, a board game session, or a shared activity like LEGO or colouring. -
150 Dojos – Headteacher Reward
A celebration of exceptional effort across the term, including rewards such as a Headteacher certificate, tea and biscuits with the Headteacher, or the opportunity to help lead an activity or assembly.
Communication Through ClassDojo
ClassDojo is also an important way for us to share information with families.
- Learning Journeys will be shared so you can see what your child has been learning in school.
- The ClassDojo Newsfeed will include updates, trips, changes to the school day, and important school information.
Please note:
If parents or carers need to contact a member of staff, this should be done via the school admin email or by speaking to your child’s teacher at the end of the day.
Stay Connected
We also now have a school Facebook page, where we will share:
- Upcoming events
- Important information
- Highlights from learning journeys
We encourage all families to follow and share the page to help raise awareness of our school within the local community.
